Role Overview
We are offering a 12-month commercial property placement for a motivated and committed undergraduate to join our Asset Management team. This role will provide hands-on experience in managing and enhancing the performance of a substantial property portfolio predominantly focused on Land and Development. You’ll gain exposure to the full lifecycle of asset management and play an active role in supporting strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the Asset Management team with day-to-day operations across a varied national portfolio.
• Assist with lease events including renewals, rent reviews, surrenders, and lettings.
• Undertake property inspections and compile reports on asset condition, tenant occupation, and investment potential.
•Liaise with internal teams (e.g. Facilities, Legal, Finance, PM, FM) and external consultants.
• Contribute to asset strategies aimed at improving income, capital value, and tenant mix.
• Maintain and update tenancy schedules, management systems, and key performance metrics.
•Conduct market research to support decision-making on leasing, acquisitions, and disposals.
•Attend site visits and tenant meetings alongside senior team members.
Requirements
•Currently enrolled in a RICS-accredited degree (e.g. Real Estate, Property Management, or Land & Property Development) with a placement year option.
•Strong interest in asset management and commercial property.
•Confident communicator, both written and verbal.
•Highly numerate with good analytical and organisational skills.
•Proficiency in Microsoft O ice (particularly Excel and PowerPoint).
•Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
•Full UK driving licence preferred (travel to sites may be required).
