FI Property Group founder and managing director, Tim Knowles, is supporting a national campaign calling for greater support for disabled patients in hospitals, urging the public to sign a petition to make Nina’s Law a legal requirement.

Tim has already donated to the campaign, named after Nina Parry, a woman with multiple sclerosis (MS) from Swindon, Wiltshire, who is leading the fight for change. He has also personally supported Nina by purchasing specialist equipment to help manage her condition, including a TheraMatic bed and a standing wheelchair.

Currently, carers can provide essential personal and social care to patients in hospital, helping with everyday needs such as eating and communication. However, there is no legal requirement for this support to continue during a hospital stay. Nina’s Law aims to change this by ensuring care providers can continue supporting patients when they need it most.

Tim is proud to support this important campaign and raise awareness of the difference that continued care can make to people living with disabilities and complex health conditions.

Tim Knowles commented: “It’s a privilege to support such an important cause – carers play a vital role in supporting people when they are in hospital, helping with everyday needs such as eating and communication.

“Nina’s Law would give carers the recognition and support they need to continue providing that care when patients need it most.”
